Signage

Srina Exterior Signage

. sketch

The hand gesture of the brand represents the moment of serving. The hands represent the people who are a part of the brand; not only the customers but also the field workers in Sri Lanka.

While the logo mark remains the generic shape of hands to represent people, the signage can have sacred hands; the store would be the center of community space in the city of Akron.

. study

A series of studies of how the fingers touch the bowl. The combination of photography and simple drawing hints at image treatment of the brand. It has the potential for a social media campaign and/or poster design.

. concept

Kinetic art is art that depends on motion for its effects.
The sculpture contracts wind and moves as if a part of nature.

. construct

Creating a Kinetic wind sculpture of hands for Srina Tea House. Each part of the sculpture illustrates a finger, which is pronounced with the length of each part. The thumb is the shortest and the pinkie is the 2nd shortest. The index finger and ring finger should be the same length and approximately 1.5 times longer than the thumb or pinkie. The longest part should be the middle finger.

. illustrate

The hands are placed under the bowl. Tilt both hands to fit under the bowl. The connection should be on the wrist part. Ideally, the movement creates an illusion of crossing fingers as the wind moves the sculpture. Example: Nautilus by Lyman Whitaker.
